How we work with you.
1. Agreement
By using this website or engaging Moliceiro Studio for any service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.
2. Who we are
Moliceiro Studio is an independent design and software studio based in Aveiro, Portugal. For questions about these terms, contact us at hello@moliceiro.studio.
3. This website
This website is provided for information. You can browse without creating an account or sharing personal data. You may not misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it without permission, or impersonate Moliceiro Studio.
4. Our services
We offer two kinds of work.
4.1 Custom projects
Custom projects include branding, websites, mobile applications, custom software, and related design and development. The scope, timeline, and fees for custom work are set out in a proposal or contract. If that document conflicts with these terms, the proposal or contract prevails.
4.2 Architecture website subscription
This is a managed website for architecture practices, offered as a monthly Basic or Pro plan. Each plan includes a professionally designed site, hosting, SSL, maintenance, and technical support. Billing, cancellation, domain, and content are covered in section 5.1. Plan details are on our For Architects page.
5. Subscriptions
5.1 Architecture website subscription
While the subscription is active
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, in euros. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.
We host, maintain, and manage the website and its infrastructure. You supply the content. Custom domain setup is included; you pay domain fees. Template customisation is limited as described on the product page.
If you cancel
The website stays available until the end of the current period. After that date we stop hosting it. You can then migrate the site to another service or discontinue it.
After cancellation
If you discontinue the site, we remove it from our infrastructure. The domain remains yours and can be used with any other provider.
If you migrate, the domain's DNS must be pointed to the new host. We can handle this for an additional fee, or you can do it yourself or with another provider.
We export and provide your content. The platform and template source code are not transferred and remain our intellectual property.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the materials you provide to us, including text, photographs, and logos. You confirm that you have the rights to use those materials and grant us a licence to use them to build, host, and maintain your website.
We retain ownership of the template, design system, tools, and code, unless a custom contract says otherwise.
We may show completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to.
7. Payments
Custom projects are billed according to the agreed proposal. Subscriptions are charged on a recurring monthly or annual basis. After cancellation, unused time is not refunded; access continues until the end of the paid period.
8. Liability
We provide the website and our services with reasonable care. We are not responsible for outages or failures of third-party services, including hosting, domain registrars, or email providers.
You agree to hold us harmless from any claims or damages arising from the use of our website or services.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the website or our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date of the latest update is shown on this page.
